We're painting the roses red...

I'm not sure what it is about Seattle and our trees. I know that we're super into nature (though not as obsessive as Portlanders). I'll be the first to admit that REI is a dangerous place for my paycheck. But honestly...


...making them blue?

Hopefully you all remember the sweaters we put on trees in Pioneer Square.


Apparently we decided the trees in Westlake look better in blue.  I get it, I guess. It's right next to the mall. It's important to look your best.

      Yes. I saw them painting them yesterday. Not sure what that's all about or which nonprofit is responsible. I do know that I am a bit worried about the tree's ability to "breathe" through paint. Hopefully they used low or zero VOC paint.
